Self Isolation
Self Isolation does not require a GP sick note and individuals are advised to request an isolation note.Further information can be found here.
Stringent Social Distancing – (People who would be eligible for a flu vaccination every year on medical grounds) – If you fall into this group you may not be able to work or require adaptations due to the nature of their role, it is the duty of their employer to make adaptations where possible. You can download our employer information letter to give to your employer if they have requested that you get a letter from the Doctor.
Shielding – The government has written to all patients who are deemed extremely clinically vulnerable if they contract coronavirus. The shielding letter received by patients can be used as proof for employers a MED3 certificate is not required
